for chelsea,

1. i think way too much.

2. i have strong urges to get up and dance and sing in the middle of class, the more boring the class, the more i want to do this.

3. in a past life i honestly think i was either mama cass or a big black woman.

4. when i walk to the bus every morning, i hold conversations with every bird i see. don't know why, i've just always done it.

5. when i was a youngster i tried to run away and join the circus. i wanted to be a contortionist.

6. i sometimes actually get lost in my own head. no kidding.

i'm not gonna tag anyone, maybe i'll start a revolution.
but...yeah.

Solar plexus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

The solar plexus, also known as the celiac plexus, plexus cœliacus or plexus solaris, is an autonomous cluster of nerve cells (see Plexus) in the human body behind the stomach and below the diaphragm near the celiac artery in the abdominal cavity. The solar plexus consists of two ganglia, called celiac ganglia, and a nerve network connecting the two ganglia. The solar plexus controls functions of the internal organs as for example adrenal secretion and the contraction in the intestines.

A blow to the stomach, halfway between the navel and the heart may also put pressure on this nerve cluster, creating great pain. The blow can cause a temporary paralysis of the diaphragm, resulting in difficulty in breathing - a sensation commonly known as having the "wind knocked out" of you.

Other similar nerve centres are the cardiac plexus near the heart, or the hypogastric plexus in front of the last lumbar vertebra.

The solar plexus is also considered an energy node according to Hinduism, called the manipura chakra

[from wikipedia, the free encyclopedia]

Jefferson Airplane was an American rock band from San Francisco, a pioneer of the LSD-influenced psychedelic rock movement. Various successor incarnations of the band have performed under different names, reflecting changing times and performer lineups, known as Jefferson Starship, and later simply Starship.

Jefferson Airplane was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.

The term Jefferson airplane is also slang for a used match bent to hold a marijuana cigarette that has been smoked too short to hold without burning the hands. An urban legend claims this was the origin for the band's name, though according to band member Jorma Kaukonen the name was invented by his friend Steve Talbot as a satire of blues names such as "Blind Lemon" Jefferson [1].

In the Summer of 2005 Jefferson Starship will be performing at Retrofest in Chilliwack, British Columbia, with Rick Derringer, Blue Öyster Cult, Edgar Winter, and It's A Beautiful Day.
